Debate, this time around.

President Obama decided to show up at the latest debate this time and he came on with his A game. He beat Romney this time. Not but an overwhelming edge, but beat him soundly. This is a real race again. This week's soundbyte is Romney's "Folders of Women" line. Funny, but not hysterical.

Romney accused the President of not calling the recent Libyan attack a "terrorist act" quickly enough. I guess the next day in the Rose Garden was too late. But we were still gathering intelligence Governor...if he would have speculated before having all the facts, you'd of had a field day with that. But I was heartened to see Obama detractors posting the transcripts from the Rose Garden speech on Facebook. First of all, it's practically poetry. Secondly, although he talks about "terrorist acts" and later "this terrible act", he assumes we can connect the dots. Most Romney supporters cannot. Thirdly, and most importantly, this splitting of fine hairs tells me they are scared.

I feel most confident today - more than in a while - especially after reading an in-depth study of how polling numbers are compiled - that Obama is going to win.

But he must keep plugging. We don't want it close. They will steal the will of the American people if it's close. Witness 2000.
